In Each Other's Corner

In Each Other's Corner

If there’s one thing I’m thankful for, it’s that my husband and I are always 100% in each other’s corners. No matter what kind of chaos life throws our way, or what kind we create ourselves, we’ve learned how to stand shoulder to shoulder and cheer each other on.

That’s been especially true lately. If you follow us on TikTok, you probably saw the video that blew up, the one where my husband was holding down the boutique while I was off carpooling for our daughter’s dance class. That moment wasn’t staged or planned; it was just real life. But it reminded me how far we’ve come and how much we truly support one another now.

Because it hasn’t always been this way. About eight years ago, we hit a really rough patch. The kind where you start wondering if love and effort are going to be enough. We were both frustrated, trying to “fix” each other, when what really needed to happen was internal not external.

Through a lot of prayer and soul searching, I started diving into what God says about who I’m supposed to be, not just as a wife, but as a woman and a mother. Once I began focusing on becoming her, everything started to shift. And when my husband saw that change in me, something in him changed too.

It didn’t happen overnight. But slowly, we rebuilt something stronger than before, a partnership rooted in grace, respect, and a shared faith.

So when people see us laughing in a TikTok or say that he is "setting the bar for how you support your wife,” I can’t help but smile. Because behind that moment is a story of growth, prayer, and two people who decided not to give up on each other, even when it got hard.

No relationship is perfect, but I’m grateful every day that we kept choosing each other, and that we’re still cheering each other on, in business, in marriage, and in life.
